CNC Machining and Fabrication

MEL's machine shop was originally used only to build parts for MEL's own custom machines, but in 2007 the first CNC machine was added and the shop was opened to outside work. The shop's capabilities are augmented by in-house mechanical engineering, permitting quick adjustments to CAD and improving the shop's workflow.
