M.E.L. did excellent engineering work on our flagship product, the Scatmat, which gives trespassing pets a mild training shock. The original mat covered our conductive 'zapping' wires with a perforated vinyl layer that was expensive to manufacture and difficult for consumers to clean. M.E.L.
